French Industrial Style Stainless, Brass, Calcutta Kitchen Island in Any Size
About the Item
This is our newest Old Plank French inspired kitchen island or French industrial work table, from our already extensive collection of French industrial style kitchen islands. Our kitchen islands are fabricated by hand in Chicago from stainless steel, solid brass connectors and solid brass casters, which we have cast in a local foundry. Each casting and every exposed piece of stainless steel, were sent out to be carefully hand-polished and they are not clear-coated, although that could be an option to consider. The marble top was cut from a beautiful slab of Calcutta Oro and measures 3cm or 1.25” thick. We offer our Old Plank kitchen islands in a myriad of shapes and dimensions. The kitchen island top surfaces can be ordered in butcher block and virtually any stone, although we find Carrara to be one of the best values, for it is substantially less than Calcutta. In lieu of casters, we do offer lion paw feet for the same cost and they are cast using the ancient lost wax process and are therefore beautifully detailed.
