About the Item

These sturdy workbenches with a construction of sheet steel and wooden drawers were used by the Czech army from the 1940s onwards. As a result, they are now only found in poor condition and can only be used in living spaces after extensive restoration. The metal surfaces of our workbench were stripped of paint residues, degreased, sanded and polished, and finally preserved against rust. In the process, the natural patina should be preserved as much as possible. The same care applies to the wooden parts, where we have made an effort to preserve the old varnish. An unusual piece of furniture that we have sold multiple times and have always been surprised by its impact on the space.
