About the Item
Antique Regency style gilt wood marble top pedestal or plant stand, early 20th century.
Fantastic gilt pedestal with cabriole legs and scrolled feet set upon an in-curving stepped base. Carved detail accentuates the base as well as the length of the legs and along the apron ending in a delightful scroll lending tailored definition to its clean yet bold design. A nicely edged Carrera marble top has fine gray veining and is in good condition. This piece is very sturdy and capable of supporting good weight if needed. The top of the marble is 14.5” in diameter.
A standout pedestal which will beautifully display a plant or sculpture.
