About the Item
This beautiful Art Deco Streamlined Machine Age Bookmatched Walnut & Fluted Black Lacquer Supports Side Table originates from the United States, Circa 1930. Features an octagonal profile with a curved lip rising from the top surface of the table, formed in a beautiful book-matched walnut with black lacquer trip and four fluted supports descending along the corners of the table. Has a base that matches the profile of the top. Symmetrical and highly elegant with lovely proportions and geometric forms, this piece exemplifies beautifully the design motifs and characteristics of the Art Deco movement, and will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. In Mint Restored Condition.
