French 19th Century Mahogany Etagere

About the Item

A petite French mahogany 19th century oval etagere side table on casters. The thick upper tray is ringed with a sloping wall, forming a shallow bowl or vide poche to enclose the contents. In the middle tier, a diamond-shaped shelf is suspended between the two columns of the frame for wonderful contrast with smooth and rounded elements of the design. At the floor is the bottom tier with concave notches, resting on tiny casters for mobility. Cleaned & polished with a French paste wax, ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images.
