French Vintage Art Deco Style Occasional Table

About the Item

This modern, vintage 20th century occasional table has an Art Deco profile in its angular brass frame of two tiers of faux red mahogany veneer. The thick upper surface is trimmed in brass with two studs on each end (an industrial touch), framing the linoleum surface designed to appear as wood–a practical feature should one want to use this table as a small dry bar. Four brass rods support the top, rising from the lower tier with the same materials. Please note that the lower shelf is not attached to the frame; flipping it over reveals the maker’s signature, “George Perrier” dated 1965. Four splayed feet, painted black over the metal underneath, lift the table off the floor. View the detailed images to see more of this handcrafted table.
