About the Item

A lovely Finnish Art Deco side table in dark stained birch and tubular steel from the 1930s. The table is surprisingly light and can be easily moved around. It features a middle shelf with a drawer, in addition to the bottom level that can also be used to keep items. A brilliant, simple design. The sideboard has been surface refreshed to elevate the patina and wood motifs. The condition is good, with solid structural integrity. As the name suggests, the side table is perfect as a side table for reading chairs or as an entrance table to hold keys, mail, or other essentials by the door. A functional piece from the 1930s that can still serve a purpose after nearly a century since its design.
