A finely crafted giltwood two-tier side table attributed to Gabriel Viardot (1830–1906), showcasing rich chinoiserie influence. The table features elaborately carved and pierced wood apron details with stylized geometric fretwork, resting on elegant cabriole legs terminating in carved claw-and-ball feet. The top surface is adorned with delicate incised decoration and inset with intricate mother-of-pearl inlays depicting birds, flowering branches, and bamboo in a traditional East Asian motif. The lower tier mirrors the pierced design with additional fine detailing. Dimensions: 29" H x 26" W x 16.25" D.

A magnificent 19th century French hand-carved chinoiserie style mahogany center-table with mother-of-pearl inlaid marquetry top attributed to Gabriel Viardot.
