Small and stylish, multipurpose side table from the late 1800s. The first owner of this antique European table with drawer would have been a lady from the upper, upper class and she herself (and sometimes her maid) would have engaged in all kinds of handwork such as knitting. What makes this wonderful antique table extra stylish are the elegant legs underneath the perfect nutwood column. Their shape and the way they are positioned underneath this relatively small table is an absolute joy to look at. The surface of the wood of this refined workmanship table is right up there with the best we have ever seen from this time period. And the nutwood itself (with the stunning flame-patterns) is truly remarkable too. Apart from a few minor imperfections this antique could hardly be in better condition. Thanks to its practical size this work of beauty can be used in all kinds of rooms and for all kinds of purposes. In a living room or bedroom with some candlesticks or photo frames on top this rare table will look marvelous, but no matter where you decide to have her on display, this marvel of 19th century workmanship will never fail to impress.
