HIVE II, Resin and Travertine Cube Side Table by Paola Valle
About the Item
The source of inspiration is the home of the bees called hives. The honeycomb has a very distinctive hexagonal pattern where we can find the honey, its color will depend on the type of nectar the bees are feeding on. We can find honey in various colors such as: yellow, amber, greenish, reddish or even transparent like water.
We wanted to give a twist to the pattern of the honeycomb and instead used the circle to create the distinctive pattern. We use travertine marble to represent the color of the beehive wax and translucent resin to symbolize the honey they produce.
This tables are surely fun and easy to look and will definitely be an outstanding addition to any space.
The small nesting table provides a different level and various layout options.
This sculptural tables can also be used as stools.
