Jacques ADNET - Pair of 1940 Side Tables
About the Item
Very rare pair of side tables in lacquered wood, parchment, and silver plated bronze sabots. Each has one drawer with an oxidized brass ring handle.
Drawer is in beach wood and ash. Structure is in a type of mahogany.
Height: 23.25", Length and Width: 17.75"
Adnet made several versions of this side table, some in all wood, all shagreen, and some in all parchment.
This socket is typical of Adnet work and we can find it on several models of tables and chairs.
Some of them are illustrated in the 1948 ADNET book.

- Condition:Refinished. Sabots are in their original condition. Some parts of the silver plated are worn (you can see a slight yellow tint of the bronze coming through). The parchment is original, and has some stains.<br /> some marks on the lacquer and we can see the mahogany color coming through.
