Pair of 1980s Italian Lacquered Brass Side Tables, Removable Serving Trays
About the Item
Exquisite pair of 1980s Italian side tables / tray tables, with removable serving trays. Brushed brass with high gloss lacquer finish.
These tables are constructed of a tube brass frame, seamlessly welded into a cuboid / rectangular prism. They look very striking and architectural, simply as a gilded sculptural form in the room. Additionally, each of the two prismatic brass frames holds a molded brass tray. The tray is constructed of a single sheet of brass, pressed into form with arched edges to fit perfectly over the tubular frame.
The brass of the tray is brushed length ways and richly lacquered to a high gloss finish.
The tables have been professionally restored, including full paint correction. This has restored the high gloss lacquer finish to its true unbridled 1980s glory.
