About the Item
Handsome matching pair of Chinese export carved hardwood garden stools or drinks tables having a round tabouret or drum form. The stools are are sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The wood has a dark, rich, near-ebony finish with a lovely aged patina. The round tops are 18.5 inches high with a decorative carved greek key motif around the frieze or border. The apron and legs have oval elongated openings further enhancing the design. Mid-century modern with a distinctive profile from an estate in San Francisco, CA.
