About the Item

Rare early 18th century oak lowboy with a spirited stance and most unusual legs. Beautiful and richly patinated top with thumb molded edge having reentrant "baby's bum" corners over three drawers with cockbeaded edges. Original brasses over scalloped apron and standing on jaunty cabriole legs ending in spurred hooves. The whole with very good color.
