Restored Antique Napoleon III Occasional Table Brown Leather Top Butlers Trays
About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely unique French Napoleon III fully restored occasional table with brass gallery rail, brown leather top and butlers slip serving trays
A good looking well made and desirable table, it has a Regency style brass gallery top, brass capped feet, a brown leather top and two brown leather butlers slip serving trays, the idea being your butler can serve drinks and snacks on them and not clutter up or damage the top. The piece also has two good sized oak lined drawers. The main frame is light walnut
The timber patina is glorious, the leather top is the original and has decades of marks and scratches in it which we have left in to show the character. It has been restored to include being hand dyed and antiqued this deep cigar colour
Condition wise, the frame has been cleaned waxed and polished, some light repairs to the brass work and as mentioned, the leather restored, there will be normal age and use related patina marks all over
