Finest quality antique English George III Chippendale style hand carved solid mahogany tilt-top supper Table with rare original hand-hewn mahogany birdcage support. Fabulous hand carved tilt-top supper Table with cabriole legs upon ball and claw pad feet and original casters!
The hand carving on this table and the condition are exemplary. There is evidence of a professional repair at one of the feet which is barely noticeable and only mentioned for accuracy.

With superlative marquetry inlays of satinwood quarter fans on the perimeter of each drawer as well as "Adam" style satinwood and ebony fan escutcheons, to the delicate checkered inlay on the cornice frieze, this Chest on Chest has it all. Please note that this is a superior made Chest on Chest having elm drawer linings versus the traditional oak or deal (pine) all standing upon handsome ogee feet.
