Faux Bamboo Campaign Style Burlwood Desk or Writing Table
About the Item
Ernest Hemingway style desk or writing table with chinoiserie faux bamboo, burl wood inlay, finished back, drawers (one opens for a keyboard) and is very heavy and sturdy. The desk features a burlwood top with banded inlay border and chamfered corners. Three drawers are situated below and the sides show cast iron x-supports with medallion detail. Brass finished caps applied at the knees and feet with eight faux bamboo legs! This piece can function in so many ways - garden room, home office, even a living room as the back is finished. Did we mention that it is part of the Seven Seas Collection by Hooker Furniture? Please note that imperfections are natural to burlwood. This desk is in very good shape!
