Modernist American Walnut Vanity Table
About the Item
Modernist American black walnut vanity table designed and produced in England using traditional furniture making techniques. Completely handcrafted from the finest American black walnut. Hand dovetailed joints to the main console drawer box and all inner English oak drawer parts. This vanity table is fixed to the wall via screw holes hidden away behind the drawers - a straightforward process. A rock solid and striking piece of modernist furniture that is built to last. Handmade Leather finger pulls.
Finished in durable natural oils.
Legs simply unscrew and dismantle/assemble for extra safe transportation.
We are also able to produce this piece in other sizes and in full prime English oak - Please enquire for any further details and quotations.
We design bold and distinctive pieces of furniture – our main objective is combining the design alongside the natural beauty and properties of the raw materials.
These timbers and materials are very carefully chosen for each specific design - maintaining our focus on the benefits, visual impact and strengths of what we use.
Our regular use of English Quartersawn Oak is one case in point. It has been the beloved timber of fine furniture makers across the world for centuries. It is costly to produce but gives huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities.
By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring features with our contemporary designs we aim to continue creating some very distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces.
These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
