About the Item

This is Manlio Garibaldi Monogram, a rare decorative object realized in Italy in 1874. This important artwork represents the monogram MG of Manlio Garibaldi, the minor son of the famous general Giuseppe Garibaldi. Made with the young Manlio's hair on a white background for the monogram and a blue background for the vegetal raceme decoration. Enclosed in an oval frame in gilded copper. On the back, a lining in marbled paper. Very good conditions. This object is shipped from Italy.
