A fine and large Flemish 17th-18th century Baroque figural historical tapestry fragment. The large tapestry depicting an allegorical Royal family scene of a warrior meeting his new born child surrounded by his family and Royal members of the Court, the newborn baby on the ground. A floral border wreath trim decorates the two sides. Brussels, circa 1700s. Measures: Height 144 inches (365.8 cm) to right side and 141 inches (358.2 cm) left side Width 150 inches (381 cm).
