French Majolica dog wall pocket signed Delphin Massier. Height / 7.3 inches. The Massier are known for the quality of their unique enamels and paintings. The Massier family produced different pieces with birds in a very creative style in Vallauris on the French Riviera; they excelled in the representation of all animals at the end of 19th century: birds, roosters, parrots, donkeys, frogs, dogs. They participated with success at different nationals and internationals exhibitions.
