About the Item
VladimÃr David for Jihokera Bechyne Zodiac Tile Fishes / Pisces. Czech Republic, mid 20th century. This is a great mid-century studio pottery tile depicting the Zodiac sign of the Fishes / Pisces. It was made by the pottery workshop Johokera from the town Bechyne in Czech Republic and is designed by pottery artist Vladimir David. Great image of two swimming fishes in great colors shifting from blue to red. The tile has a very attractive thick glaze which really takes it to a higher level. It was part of a series of pottery tiles made for all the different Zodiac signs. Please note we have several of these tiles available. Great vintage condition with no faults. You can either place it against or on the wall, depending on your own wishes.
