About the Item
A ball pen abstract drawing on paper with its original mat (no frame) that is signed LB lower right and noted on the back with an attribution to Louise Bourgeois (1911-2010) and dated to 1950-60s. This is a deceased estate piece without any paperwork or provenance. The work is not included in the artist's Catalog Raisonne and it is sold as "in the style of".
The work, however, is in the correct style of the artist's work from that period and the patina such as the mat burn indicate a similar age as well.
It measures 12"x `16" with the existing mat.
