Richard Beavis (British, 1824-1896) Near Arles on the Rhone Initialed and titled lower left. Ink and watercolor on paper/board. With an old attribution to Bonnington. Sight size: 6 x 13 in. The dimension given otherwise includes the frame. Framed in a charming late 19th century frame. Best known for his rural landscapes, the British painter Richard Beavis populated his scenes with picturesque grazing cattle and people hard at work as well illustrated in our watercolor.
