19th Century French Signed Oil on Board Landscape Painting in Carved Gilt Frame

About the Item

This charming antique Barbizon painting was created in France, circa 1880. Set in the original carved gilt frame, the artwork painted on board depicts a landscape scene with trees and river; it is signed on the bottom right corner by the artist, L. Larrauie. The expressive composition is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns soft pastel colors and wonderful details; it sits in the original and elegant gold leaf frame. Use this wall decor to embellish an office or library shelf. Measures: 17.25"W x 14"H.
