Art Nouveau Gemstone Painting after Alphonse Mucha Spring
About the Item
A rare gemstone artwork in the art nouveau style modeled after Alphonse Mucha's "Spring". The painting was done on the back of glass and applied with quartz to create the iridescent background. The Goddess finely painted, delicately inlaid with natural gemstones. She wears a long mermaid dress with the bodice and wrap encrusted in smoky topaz, continuing to the floor in crystals, highlighted with aquamarine. In her right hand an over flowing bunch of flowers made with sapphire, amethyst, citron, peridot and tourmaline. Around her feet a blooming plant of lilies encrusted in aventurine. This is a stunning, unique piece of artwork that is meticulously done with fine, natural gemstones. Besides the value of its material and artistry, the Spring Goddess symbolizes hope and rejuvenation, brings beauty and prosperity to our life.
