Framed Painted Plaster Roman Fresco

About the Item

The intricacy of this late 19th century Roman Style fresco painting has been preserved for over 100 years. It depicts wild animals and a male figure decoratively painted among scrolling foliage, framed at the top and the bottom by Greek style geometric patterning that suggests it may have once been part of a larger mural. It is painted onto plaster and fitted into a modern frame for use as a decorative item in a 21st century interior inspired by the artwork and decadence of Ancient Rome and Greece.
