The interior 18th century rococo scene depicting a seated Cardinal or Bishop surrounded by a group of aristocrats at trio concert with a lady playing the pianoforte, a standing man playing the violin and a seated man playing the cello. Signed (l/r): H. Pinggera. Measures: Canvas height 29 1/4 inches (74.3 cm) Canvas width 40 inches (101.6 cm) Frame height 40 1/4 inches (102.2 cm) Frame width 51 inches (129.6 cm) Frame depth 4 inches (10.2 cm).
