Exquisitely rendered, original oil on board, signed estate painting by French artist, Girard, depicts an American Bulldog reclining on grass, with sparkling eyes, an alert expression and a lush, full coat with tiny, individual hairs creating a life-like, 3 dimensional effect. So realistic you can almost feel the big wet nose!
Signed "Girard" in the lower left hand corner. Beautifully framed in an ornate frame with antiqued gold accents.
