Orthodox Christian Icon of the Holy Virgin Softening Evil Hearts, 19th Century

About the Item

Although the exact origins of this icon are uncertain, it is believed to have originated in southwestern Russia during the 18th and 19th centuries. The Russian name on the icon's left side translates to "softening of malevolent hearts." Measuring 36 cm in height and 30 cm in width, this icon remains in very good condition.
