About the Item

This exquisite 19th-century French tapestry, woven on a Jacquard loom, is a stunning reproduction of a panel from the celebrated 16th-century Flemish tapestry series, The Hunts of Maximilian. Rich in detail and natural motifs, the tapestry brings to life a moment of action and pageantry, echoing the style, texture, and storytelling brilliance of the original wool, silk, and metallic-thread masterpieces.
