The distinctive Persian Kerman Suzani (Termeh embroidery in Persian) comes from the ancient city of Kerman in Persia. The hand embroidered textile tapestry is on a red cloth background with embroidery designs in blue, purple, yellow, and brown. The Embroidered Textile piece is from the mid-1800s and is in wonderful condition. Traditionally in the Persian homes, they would use this piece as a table cover. The piece is also great to be displayed as a tapestry on the wall and away from direct sunlight to preserve its brilliant colors.
