Offered for sale is a wonderful wrought iron wall sculpture by Frederic Weinberg in the 1950s. The sculpture depicts a man in fencing gear and in a lunging stance. Weinberg, a Philadelphia-based artist and industrial designer, trained at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts. Throughout the 1950s, he designed, produced, and sold a wide variety of functional and decorative items under his company, Frederic Weinberg Co.
Working with wire, iron and gilded bronze, Weinberg crafted furniture and furnishings for use in homes, businesses and institutions. His most notable pieces included swivel stools with a wrought-iron base and seats made with leather, sheepskin, or woven wicker; Atomic Age–-style clocks; and sculptural table lamps constructed with paper shades and metal frames shaped like lutes and guitars.

Specifically, the bottom left corner of frame was broken and a new piece was glued in by our experienced staff. Frame is purposefully distressed. SHE has been labeled as mother, grandmother, wife, girlfriend, partner, daughter, sister… but WHO is SHE to herself?? If SHE is strong willed… she is a b**ch. If SHE is sexy or seductive… she is a tramp. If SHE is reserved… she is a prude. She doesn’t care… but she really cares TOO much! If she could see herself as others do, she would see that SHE is a creation of perfection. Exactly who she is supposed to be. Unique. Individual. Irreplaceable. Definition of a woman? SHE is a masterpiece… but SHE is complicated.
We have an incredible life-sized art assemblage created by renowned designer Susan Tibbles for your viewing pleasure! This piece is titled “Master Lock,” and was custom made and hand crafted by Susan Tibbles in 1989. It is composed of a masterfully sculpted and crafted 3-diminsional woman’s silver negligee, thigh high fish net stockings with lock details on the thigh straps, black spiked stiletto heels, and a silver beaded & spiked neck collar with a ring attached to a full-length chain draping from the collar to a hook at the top of the case. The chain hangs down to the base of the case where it gathers between the spiked heels. SASSY!! Carved Antique American Double Picture Frame Depicting US Navy Crest

Hand-carved in the United States in the early 20th century, the focal point of this double picture frame is the stylized naval insignia.
Both glass frames, which fit 6 x 4 photos, currently contain a pair of near antique black and white postcards (they are included). The frame on the left has a print of a circa 1930 George Harris photograph of the USS Constitution, aka “Old Ironsides”. The frame on the right has a lithograph of a full rigged windjammer (commercial sailing boat) that was originally printed in the early 1900’s.
The two frames are positioned splayed outward so that the bottom of the frames meet in one point. Both frames are adorned with leaves and rectangular borders with diapered background. The outside bottom corners are each conical volute scrolls with fluted embellishments.
At the top of the frames, a large eagle is presented displayed, wings elevated (wings spread wide with the tips pointing upward). The eagle is perched upon a shaped shield with stars and stripes, in the style of an early American flag...
