"Serpentine Dancer" Designed by Maurice Picaud 'M.Pico'

About the Item

A gilt wood panel designed by Maurice Picaud for the “Folies Bergères” circa 1925. Entitled “Serpentine Dancer” in light gilt color. Depicting the dancer Nikolska, posed for the sculpture in ebony and natural oak frame. The panel was made in a limited number for commemorative purposes and distributed as gifts to the members of Pico Family and the clients of the theater. This is a very rare opportunity to own one of these stunning panel.
