About the Item
An absolutely exquisite diamond and ruby bracelet/pendant from the early Victorian (circa 1850) era! This breathtaking piece is made of 14kt rose gold and has an incredible design which can be worn as a bangle bracelet or a pendant. With a very royal appearance, a double heart centerpiece is the main focal point of the bracelet. The centerpiece, which is also a removable pendant, has a sterling topped surface detailed with a Pear Cut old European diamond on one side and luscious EGL certified Burmese ruby on the other side. The diamond weighs approximately 1.46ct, with G-H color and VS2 clarity and both center stones are framed by a sparkling diamond border and topped by a bow shaped crown. Carrying onto the shoulders of the bracelet are 16 additional old Mine Cut diamonds which complete the incredible design perfectly. The bracelet is hinged on both sides and the clasp is hidden within the band at the back, allowing the wearing to easily slip onto their wrist. On the back of the diamond and ruby double heart centerpiece is a small screw which keeps the pendant in place on the bracelet or allows you to remove it and attach to a chain to be worn as a pendant. A very unusual and special piece, this bracelet would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
The centerpiece pendant measures 1" tall, is 7/8 wide and has a depth of a little less than 1/4". When worn as a bangle, the inside of the bracelet, where your wrist would rest, measures 2 1/4" wide and a little less than 1 7/8" tall.
