Victorian 14k Pearl, Turquoise, and Diamond Bangle
About the Item
A fabulous pearl, turquoise, and diamond bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k vibrant yellow gold, the front surface of the bracelet features two scrolling motifs, which meet at the bangle's center. The scrolling "arms" are encrusted with lovely turquoise stones, which display a lovely bluish-green hue. Five pearls are nestled between the two arms, and display a lovely luster. The front of the surface also features 12 small old European cut diamonds. 4 of the diamonds are held within bezel settings, and the remaining 8 are bead set, and located within foliage motifs. The remainder of the bangle features an intricate cutout pattern, which incorporates both floral and scrolling motifs. The piece secures with a hidden push clasp, and feature an additional figure eight safety. The tongue of the push clasp features a "14K" purity mark. A colorful and unique piece, this bangle would make a lovely addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet, where a wrist would rest, has a diameter of approximately 2 1/4" across. The surface of the bangle is approximately 3/4" at its widest point, and 1/4" at its thinnest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the stones are secure and intact. The hidden push clasp, and figure eight safety are both intact and in working order.
