About the Item
Edward VII and Queen Alexandra Coronation Souvenir Silver Bracelet with Bezel Set Cabochon Shaped Botswana Gemstone Agate Ovals. Each piece of polished agate has a different color and internal markings. The bracelet has a silver medal pendant with profiles of the King and Queen on one side and the reverse with coat of arms. The medallion says under the coat of arms "In Celebration of the Coronation 1902." Botswana was Formerly the British protectorate of Bechuanaland, Botswana adopted its new name after becoming independent within the Commonwealth on 30 September 1966. Bracelet is unmarked tested sterling silver. The agate's are 18x24mm. The medallion diameter is 20mm.
