The brooch has been modelled in the form of a stemmed flower.
The centre of the flower is represented by a circular domed design, embellished with forty-seven stunning individually claw set Old European round cut diamonds, totalling 2.89Cts.
The domed centre is encircled by interlacing yellow gold petals and strands; the petals have been crafted in a combination of bifurcating lobed motifs and rope twist decorated designs, creating a multi-layered arrangement.
The hallmarked stem is plain and unembellished, terminating in a tapered point.

Rare Ken Beldin Modern Primitive Antelope Cuff Bracelet and Brooch Pin Mexico

Stunning Museum Quality Artist Signed Cuff Bracelet and Brooch. Hand crafted in Copper and mixed metals featuring an Antelope. Bracelet measures approx. 2" wide in front. The Brooch is unsigned, however, the Bracelet is fully signed by the Artist in electric pen. Signed: ORIGINAL KEN and XOCHITL BELDIN MEXICO 1958. Xochitl may have been Beldin’s wife or mistress. Ken Beldin (1900-?) Was born in Mississippi and educated at U. of C. Berkeley. He retired as head of a successful ad agency in Los Angeles in 1931 to travel through the Southwest. He worked for a time with Mexico’s National Railways attracting tourists to travel to Mexico by rail and was drawn into the rugged beauty of Mexico and its people. He set up a studio in Tenencingo South of Mexico City near Taxco and began creating one-of-a-kind jewelry and sculpture. He was the custodian of a collection of archeological Pre-Columbian stones, and it was from these he derived his motifs. His "modern Primitive" jewelry was considered to have the most feeling and the most authentic look of the Period. He worked throughout the 1940s and 50s with copper, brass, steel, wood and leather. His work was admired and collected by some of the elite of Hollywood including Barbara Hutton, Edward G. Robinson, James Cagney and Sammy Davis, Jr. His friends in Mexico who also purchased his work were: Diego Riviera...

A fine and impressive vintage 24.92 carat high zircon and 14 karat rose gold bar brooch; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive vintage brooch has been crafted in 14k rose gold.
This impressive spray brooch displays five stunning individually claw set blue high zircons* in a combination of round and cushion cuts.
The blue high zircon stones are set in the spray design, which incorporates impressive scrolling motifs in rose gold.
This fine example of vintage jewellery secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
This 1950s brooch is hallmarked to the reverse of the bar setting with the 14k gold mark 585 and the maker's mark (RAI).
This vintage blue zircon brooch is supplied with an independent gemstone grading report card.
NOTE: * A high zircon is a natural zircon which has not suffered damage from self-radiation during the process of the stones creation; their gemmological properties are higher for density, hardness and refractive index. The zircon has high lustre and dispersion, in addition to the appearance of extra facets facilitated by double-refraction; each of these factors provides fine brilliance and flashes of fire.
