About the Item
Vendome brooch and earrings set, the brooch of star shape consisting of large pear-shaped green crystals interspersed with sapphire blue round crystals and striated silver beads, all centering a large blue crystal. The coordinating clip-on/screwback earrings are a mirror of the center of the brooch. Stones are clear set in the silver tone setting, allowing for light exposure. Vendome, a division of Coro that operated from the 1940s until 1979, was known for its high-quality beads. An excellent example of their production. Signed in oval cartouche on reverse of brooch and incised on back of earring clasps.
