About the Item
A beautiful pair of earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14k white gold and platinum, each earring begins with a circular surmount, which features a bezel-set single cut diamond. The top diamond is followed by 5 similar, yet smaller diamond-encrusted links, which lead to a larger component. Each larger component is centered by a bezel-set Old European cut diamond. The larger diamonds display G/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The diamond is surrounded by a border of sapphires, which are channel-set and display an incredible vivid blue hue. The sapphires range in cut, and include French and round cut sapphires. Overall, the sapphires have an approximate total carat weight of .50ctw. The sapphires are then bordered by an exterior row of bead-set single cut diamonds. Overall, the smaller diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .90ctw and display G/H color and VS2-SI1 clarity. The earrings are completed by simple lever backs, which are stamped "585". A darling pair, these earrings would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 1 5/8" long and 5/8" at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or lever backs, and all of the stones are secure and intact.
