Here we have an elegant pair of earrings, meticulously crafted from platinum. These identical pieces feature a delicate bow design, encrusted with a series of small, sparkling old and rose cut diamonds that enhance their graceful curves. The intricate detailing of the ribbon loops and tails showcases exceptional craftsmanship, creating a sense of movement and fluidity. The platinum setting provides a lustrous backdrop, accentuating the brilliance of the stones and the refinement of the design.
These earrings originally started life atop an Edwardian brooch but have recently been expertly converted into a more practical pair of earrings by master antique jewellery restorer and re-designer, Gaetano Chiavetta.
