Edwardian 14K Gold Handmade Delicate Alternating Link Charm
About the Item
We love when we come across handmade chains; this one is ultra delicate and circa the Edwardian era. The chain consists of tiny gold bars that create a station. Between each station are a series of links that create a different station. The piece is entirely handmade, and looks delicate around the neck. It is a special chain to wear a pendant on, and is the kind of chain you never need to take off. A rare piece, it is hard to find handmade antique chains of this variety.
Sourced on a recent trip to Prague. Circa 1900. The chain is marked for Czech Republic and 14k gold. It measures 18.5” and is .80 mm wide. It weighs 2.15 grams.
