A late Victorian aquamarine and diamond-set brooch/pendant, centrally-set with an oval-shaped faceted aquamarine, surrounded by delicate openwork diamond-set frame of laurel garlands, ribbon ties and foliate motifs, suspending a pear-shaped aquamarine drop, the yellow gold-set aquamarines estimated to weigh a total of 6.8 carats, the diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 1.3 carats, all set in silver to a yellow gold mount, with detachable necklace and brooch fitting, circa 1890, measuring approximately 4.9x4.6cm, gross weight 19 grams. Victorian pendant/brooch in Very Good condition. Unmarked, metal tested as 18ct Gold and Silver. A beautiful aquamarine brooch in the French Belle Époque style from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales. The delicate, floral diamond design is wonderfully off-set by the calming, pale blue hue of the aquamarine. A stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian 5.05 carat aquamarine and 0.30 carat diamond, 12 karat yellow gold and silver set pendant; part of our diverse antique jewellery collections. This stunning, fine and impressive aquamarine pendant has been crafted in 12k yellow gold with a silver setting. The central pierced decorated, quatrefoil-shaped frame displays a stunning feature collet set oval faceted cut aquamarine, encompassed with four pavé set eight cut diamonds, in addition to four individually collet set diamonds to the incurves. The impressive pear faceted cut aquamarine suspended from the terminal of the design is surmounted with a splayed scrolling frame incorporating three collet set eight-cut diamonds. The apex of the pendant is embellished with a stunning claw set round faceted cut aquamarine, accented with a floriated scrolling frame ornamented with eighteen pavé set diamonds. The lower portion of the floriated designs anchors two decorative chain supports for the lower articulated frames. The antique pendant suspends from a 10k yellow gold chain, securing to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening; this chain can be fastened to allow the wearing length to be 16", 17" or 18". This diamond and aquamarine pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 12 karat gold and silver, with a 10k gold chain.
