This vintage 1970s Cascade Diamond and Emerald necklace by A. Kurz Switzerland features 16 brilliant cut Diamonds weighing ca. 1.55 ct, G, vs and 8 marquise cut Diamonds weighing ca. 1.70 ct, G color, vs clarity. Further the neckalce showcases 11 vivid pear shaped Emeralds weighing approxiamtely 3.10 ct.
This fine and impressive necklace has been crafted in 18 K white gold.
Length. 39 cm. Weight: 38.88 grams.
At the beginning of the 1970s, particularly expressive arrangements with jagged, expressive lines were popular in jewelry design. Diamonds were as popular as ever, but they were increasingly combined with colored stones.
This necklace reflects this optimistic spirit of the hour and features an elegant gemstone cluster at its center.
