This is a spectacular 1890 Victorian Black Onyx, Diamond, and Pearl Locket! This locket features 10 lovely rose-cut diamonds that surround one of the pearls in a lovely petal-like pattern. The locket is composed of Black Onyx and has an enamel bail and is marked "585" for 14K gold. This is the perfect locket to keep a picture of the one you love, closest to your heart.
The approximate total weight of the Diamonds is 0.15 cttw.
Two pearls measure approximately 3 mm each.

This stunning, fine and impressive antique necklace has been crafted in 22k yellow gold.
The antique necklace is comprised of a yellow gold rope chain, with a central setting comprised of forty-six conjoined circular links; each alternate link features a central yellow gold ball motif and twisted rope border.
The impressive necklace is embellished with a central pendant, suspended via a yellow gold foliate decorated ring loop.
The quatrefoil shaped pendant features a central claw set Old European cut diamond, surrounded by four stunning oval cabochon cut opals.
The central pendant is segmented via yellow gold stemmed ball motifs and incorporates interlacing scrolling motifs to the nadir.
The stunning Victorian necklace features four yellow gold three-leaf clover motifs, each embellished with an Old European cut diamond to the centre.
These impressive pensile designs alternate with two independent cabochon cut opal drops, ornamented yellow gold scrolling motifs to each nadir, reflecting that of the main pendant.

A gold and silver pendant in the Renaissance Revival style, the main element composed of an ornately carved openwork architectural structure in the form of an altarpiece, the central niche surmounted by a cupola set with pearls, with scroll and scalloped details to the interior and suspending a fleur-de-lis, containing a figure of Saint Cecelia playing a viola da gamba with two dancing putti to either side, flanked by two smaller raised pedestals issuing fleur-de-lis, each set with a putto (one playing a harp, the other playing a triangle), suspending a double swagged gold chain set with pearls, with two further chains suspending on one side a circular lapis lazuli seal in a trumpet form mount and on the other a watch winder, the whole accented with blue enamel and set to the reverse with a hinged band loop, approximately 9.5cm in total length. Tested yellow gold and silver, French, circa 1850.
François Désiré Froment-Meurice (1802-1855) was one of the most important French jewellery and silversmiths of the nineteenth century, described by Victor Hugo as the Cellini of his age. He exhibited in a number of International Exhibitions, where Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were among his clients. The Renaissance Revival, as seen here, and the Gothic Revival were his two major decorative styles. This piece is also typical of his penchant for placing a silver figure, usually female, within a yellow gold architectural mount. The central figure and flanking putti are identical to those found on two brooches by Froment-Meurice, one in the Birmingham Museum and one in the Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim. Another brooch by Froment-Meurice, in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, features a similar central figure, but this time as an angel with wings, in a silver oval blue enamelled frame. These examples also bear a similar gold and blue enamel architectural mount, and differ only in the surrounding and pendulant embellishments.

A magnificent, fine and impressive banded agate and 15 karat yellow gold cross pendant; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This magnificent, fine and impressive Victorian pendant has been crafted in 15k yellow gold.
The large and substantial body of the pendant has been crafted in banded agate, in the form of a cross.
The central cross bar is embellished with a yellow gold collet set circular cabochon cut banded agate.
The reverse of the pendant features a push fit cover for a small circular locket; this cover allows for a personal memento or photograph to be stored inside, visible through the glass panel.
The pendant suspends from a 18k yellow gold 18" curb chain via an integrated ring loop to the apex of the pendant; the pendant can be purchased without the chain upon request.
The chain secures with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening to the reverse.
This agate pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15k gold.
