Antique Natural Untreated Ruby Necklace of 18k Gold
About the Item
Rubies are not only the beloved birthstone for July, but they also symbolize enduring love and passion and are a traditional gift for those celebrating 15th or 40th anniversaries.
This elegant 18k gold floral pendant (circa 1880) is hand pierced and etched with a natural, untreated ruby of approximately 0.68 carats. The pendant is accompanied with a gemstone analysis and appraisal from EGL USA indicating a retail replacement value of $6000.
The antique pendant measures 1.8 inches from top to bottom by 0.7 inches wide, and it is in excellent condition. It is accompanied by a 19 inch, 14k gold chain.
The metal content of the necklace was verified using XRF (x ray analysis) and jeweler's acids.
