About the Item
This is a magnificent Victorian to Art Deco Antique Rose Cut Diamond Platinum Locket Pendant with an exquisite diamond set Pansy Flower on the carved Black Onyx and Platinum locket. The picture locket is one of the finest antique lockets we have seen. The extraordinary Art Deco Locket is adorned with a three dimensional pansy flower in platinum. The flower, leaves and stem are adorned throughout with Rose Cut Diamonds. The platinum design of the flower is exquisite. The pansy petals are delicate, the stem curves beautifully, the leaves have wonderful details and curving folded edges. The Rose Cut Diamonds are radiant and give the flower such vibrancy and life when set against the carved black onyx. The elegant bale is further set with four Rose Cut Diamonds. The combination of the radiant platinum flower, the antique rose diamonds, and the black onyx creates one of the most stunning and rare Art Deco jewels we have seen. The clean lines of the locket with the extraordinary black of the onyx contrasts with the exuberance of the Diamond set flower in Platinum. Lockets really do not get more wonderful than this one. The locket is all original and is in superb condition. The locket opens on the reverse for your favorite photo or memento.
