Celtic Style Gold Plated Silver Vintage Cross with Amethyst
About the Item
"Amethyst dissipates evil thoughts and quickens the intelligence" once said Leonardo Da Vinci. This wonderful cross made of gold plated silver displays a beautiful cabochon cut Amethyst of 2.0 ct in the center. The Amethyst is a variety of Quartz which is the third most common mineral on the Earth's crust. The name "Quartz" comes from old German and ancient romans belived that the Quartz was ice permanently frozen.
Created in Celtic style, this pendant has been carved and worked with the satin technique on the golden part, thus obtaining contrast and light between the silver and the gold. Made in Germany, this vintage cross is in good used condition, with normal signs of wear commensurate with the age of the jewel.
