About the Item
Superb Joseff of Hollywood large cross pendant and necklace, with the Joseff Russian gold plated antique finish. The cross is attached to the chain with an ornate link set with a clear cabochon crystal. The necklace has a ring bolt clasp which is stiff but works.
The cross has a lovely filigree design, and is set with five brilliant mauve rectangular faceted crystals, a smaller square clear faceted crystal, and finishes with a round clear faceted crystal. The cross measures 13.3 cm / 5.2 inches by 9.8 cm / 3.85 inches. There are some minor chips to the crystals.
The curb chain necklace has four filigree links set with brilliant mauve square faceted crystals. The chain measures length 83 cm / 32.6 inches, and the filigree links are 2 cm / .78 inch square.
This is a fabulous Joseff statement cross pendant and chain, set with beautiful crystals, from the 1940s. A rare find.
