A stunning, fine and impressive antique onyx, pearl, 0.98 carat diamond and enamel, 18 karat yellow gold pendant; part of our diverse Victorian gemstone jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This stunning antique pendant has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The stunning central oval shaped onyx panel is embellished with an impressive yellow gold eight-pointed star design. This star motif is ornamented with a feature Old European cut diamond to the center, accented with eighteen Dutch cut diamonds graduating in size, in a stellate manner. The anterior surface of the pendant is further ornamented with thirty-two impressive natural and seed pearls, segmented with black hot enamel. This stunning Victorian pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18k yellow gold 18" curb chain via an integrated tapering bale ornamented with three further natural pearls, in addition to a black hot enamel border. The chain secures with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening to the reverse. This antique locket has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold. The pendant is supplied with an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This antique pendant is excellent quality, set with impressive natural pearls displaying fine color and lustre. The well color matched diamonds display a fine white color and brilliance. A large Victorian black enamel and diamond locket locket that is the upmost of elegance while it suits all the fashion we wear today. If I were not in business I would treasure it and wear it with a Tuxedo jacket and blue jeans or a denim shirt. The locket has the matching diamond bale with three graduated stones. The center diamond is an old European cut of approximately .40 cts. G-H color VS2. It is surrounded by 10 small old cut diamonds. The back is a locket back with a frame that is removable.
